Chapter 4 - Progress update #12

Today's mood render unfortunately had to be slightly censored. For those who aren't already there, I also post all my mood renders on Discord. If you want an uncompressed version, since Discord compresses them slightly, just message me.

Label 4 is finished, and now it’s time to start on the longest label. Since Lisa entered the scene, the rendering time has spiked by 10 minutes per image. She's just that classy. The Label 2 bar will not be filled for another two to two and a half weeks, so progress will feel slow for the remainder of Chapter 4's development. I finished the music completely, including that for the remaining Label 2 and 3, so at least that’s finally out of the way.

I also finished the script for Chapter 5 because Chapter 4 sets up in certain places for the next chapter, so I had to make sure everything fit together. I also searched for and purchased everything for Chapter 5 (smaller items always pop up when I start working on a chapter, so it's "nearly" everything).

One slightly bad piece of news I received at the end of last week was a call from my local tax office. I had hoped to avoid this, but I was forced to create a small business to develop this game. The most annoying part is not setting everything up, but rather the mandatory work I now must do on the side: quarterly income reports and specific bookkeeping for all income and spending. I have some time to finish this, so it won't affect the development time for this chapter. However, it will take two to three weeks away from the next chapter.
